This meditation is from my album Meditations for New Beginnings. Sitting comfortably, begin with deep slow breaths from deep down in your stomach. Listen to the audio or read the following words and say them to yourself in your heart.
A new day has begun
The light so soft
Heralds the arrival
Of new possibilities
The magic that awaits me
Today is a new day
I have begun
I will explore
That the new day brings
I will go through my new day
Without losing sight of the magical
Knowledge that it is a new chance
A new opportunity
For a new beginning
I am here
I am ready.
Sit for a time until you are ready and then write in your journal on the following topics or whatever is in your heart.
1. The new day has dawned, what does that mean for you, what is one thing you would like to do in this whole new beginning?
2. How is the magic of the new day supporting you in your new beginning? What feelings do you have about the fact that it is a new day with new opportunity?
3. Write down 3 things that you are grateful for about your new day, new opportunity, new beginning.
